Formerly a castle Jaworník founded at the end of the 13th century. During the Hussite Wars it was badly damaged and later even ruined. At the end of the 15th century, however, the bishops Jan roth and Jan Thurzo had it renewed and named it Jánský Vrch. It became a summer seat of Vratislavian bishops. In the 18th century it was rebuilt into a Baroque chateau.
