Klokočůvek is situated along the river Odra between the peaks Čížavice (555m) and Stráž (548m) about 9 km northwest of the town Odry. Klokočůvek has nowadays only 132 inhabitants, it is first mentioned in 1377 be the demense of Vikštejn. In 1671 it belonged to the demense Melč, then again to Vikštejn, from 1708 to newly separated demense Klokočov. In the village there is volunteer fire company with firehouse. The original settlement was of German origin, in 1880 the village consisted of 299 inhabitants, in 1950 after finishing of settlement 175 inhabitants, in 2002 then 132 inhabitants. In Klokočůvek there are situated some leisure amenities. Behind the village cross-current Odra a settlement of private recreation cottages is situated. In the local part there is Chapel of St. Antonín of Paduán belonging to parish office of Vítkov - Klokočov. On the bank of Odra there is on new steel-concrete bridge accessible from Klokočůvek only pilgrim place Maria in Skála (though in the cadaster of Spálov) with water well treated in 1990 and in plenty visited by visitors on the fair on the occassion of festival of Birth of the Virgin Mary on 8th September. The village sealing-stick, used from the beginning of the 18th century, brought uncertain plants with three slouch fruits on long stems. Klokočůvek is a paradise for tourists, cyclists, ski runners and lover of quit milieu for rest and relaxation.
