The district Pardubicko has industrial-agricultural character. It is a part of (so-called) "The Bohemian Golden Tract", which includes the fertilest parts Polabi (surrodings of a river Labe). The structure and density settlement depend on the location. The district offers the sunny meadows, rivers, old canals and ponds. Some protected landscape areas are located in the district, a natural reserve of virgin forest Bukaca, a beautiful park of plane-trees and hundered years oaks in Choltice, typical landscape surrondings of Lazne Bohdanec.Pardubicko has a lot of sights, for example the Gothic-Renaissance chateau and historical centre in Pardubice, the catle on the Kuneticka hora, the Baroque chateua in Choltice, and other buildings - from the Romanesque church in Kojice to the wooden church in Veliny.

At the end of 30th years war was destroyed by Swedish soldiers and then was used like a material for bulding. The Kuneticka hora is very important botanical and zoological location, there are a lot of unique flowers and animals.
Pardubice is the biggest city and a centre of the region. Important moment was for development of city, when the first train went on a line Prague - Olomouc at 1845.
